A Little About Me

I draw my inspiration from architecture, design, and fashion to create unique pieces or small series, where material and texture occupy a central place. I also collaborate with architects and designers on bespoke projects.

It often starts with a pattern, a shape, or a detail that catches my attention and finds its way into my inspiration boards and then into my sketchbooks… From there, I move on to execution, leaving room for chance and the inspiration of the moment.

Sometimes, randomness becomes the starting point for a new exploration. This intuitive approach brings spontaneity to my pieces, reflecting the diversity of my influences and aesthetic research.

My universe is eclectic: from Scandinavian minimalism to Japanese aesthetics, through the 18th century, cabinets of curiosities, 16th-century Flemish art, ancient ceramics, contemporary art, design, brutalist architecture, and haute couture. These references intersect and meet in my creations, giving them a timeless uniqueness.

The work with materials and textures is central to my process. Weaving, ropes, and lines are recurring motifs in my creations. I enjoy playing with contrasts—between pure shapes and textured surfaces, between rigor and spontaneity, inspiration and technique, with a touch of imbalance—to create objects that engage the senses. Each piece tells a story and enters into dialogue with its environment.

My Journey

After nearly 10 years of self-taught practice, I began formal training in wheel-throwing in 2013. I earned a CAP in wheel-throwing in 2014 and established my ceramics studio in Chaville.

I started my production with vases and objects in raw chamotte stoneware, featuring clean shapes and graphic glazes.

Soon, my work expanded to include functional pieces and decorative objects with contemporary lines, in textured porcelain, patterned like a textile weave, as well as ceramic jewelry combining 18th-century inspiration with graphic motifs. I have also participated in numerous ceramics and craft fairs.

In 2020, I pursued a master’s degree in “Innovation through Design” at ENSCI–Les Ateliers. My thesis focused on “Collaboration in the Crafts, the Role of Design and Territories.” It was an opportunity to reflect on my working methods, my production, and the path I want to follow…

My passion for interior decoration and design led me to focus more on creating for decoration and to develop collaborations. I regularly participate in professional fairs, including Maison&Objet in Paris, and collaborate with architects and designers.

My work is evolving toward larger pieces and small-scale furniture. My passion for textilesfabrics, ribbons, and ropes accumulated over the years—is increasingly integrated into my creations. This dialogue between ceramics and textiles brings a new dimension to my work, making it more fluid and lively.

The studio

My studio is located in Chaville, in the Paris region, between Sèvres and Versailles. This is where I create and produce—a space where every gesture takes shape and where the material transforms. Surrounded by images that inspire me, samples, and my tools, I start from my sketchbooks to experiment with new textures, shapes, and balances, thereby creating new pieces.

Through each stage—building, texturing, assembling, firing, glazing, and adding ropes—the pieces gradually take shape. At every step, I seek balance between volumes, textures, and details. This creative process allows the material to reveal itself progressively, each stage adding a new dimension to the piece until it is ready to assume its final form.
