Terrablanca
The Raw Clays – Terracotta and Terrablanca collections pay homage to ancient vases, while asserting a contemporary aesthetic… a call from the Mediterranean and sun-drenched lands.
Each piece in chamotte clay, raw and textured, reveals handcrafted work: incisions, vibrations, traces of ropes, and sculptural handles. The black color, applied intuitively like calligraphy, emphasizes the reliefs and follows the curves. These unique creations interact with light and space, enhancing the most singular interiors.
The Terrablanca are unique pieces in white chamotte stoneware and textured.
Some creations are adorned with ropes, inspired by shimenawa, the large rice-straw cords of sacred Japanese sites, bringing flexibility… some ropes may even take liberties and float, dance…

Woven coffee tables or stools, between tradition and creation
The coffee tables and stools are crafted using the ancient jar-with-rope technique, originating from the south of France.
Rarely used today, this method allows the creation of large pieces while retaining a strong artisan imprint.
The table base is made from a wooden frame around which a rope is wrapped. Clay is then applied over this surface. Once the piece is partially dry, the structure and rope are removed, revealing the rope impressions inside—a memory of the material, a guiding thread that recurs in my creations.
Each table is topped with a surface for which several types are offered, allowing the table to harmonize with different interiors.
The black-stained wooden top, carved around the edges, is the result of a collaboration with cabinetmaker Barnabé Richard.
The rope top echoes the interior of the table, extending the spirit of the technique. Another version, in chamotte stoneware, incorporates a sinuous rope and knot, inspired by the shimenawa of Japanese temples.
The ropes and knots are not merely decorative, but symbols of connection.
