Lisa Maïofiss – Céramiste

Q&A

If you’d like to know more about the pieces or chat about a collaboration, I’d be happy to hear from you!

Are all your pieces handmade?
Yes, each creation is handcrafted in my studio in Chaville. These are unique pieces or very small series, made with particular attention to materials, textures, and details.
Can I order a custom or bespoke piece?
I do offer commissioned works, especially as part of collaborations with architects, decorators, and designers. Each project is unique and involves a dedicated exchange.
How are the pieces packaged and shipped?
Each work is carefully protected with suitable packaging (double or triple-wall cardboard). Specific packaging such as wooden shipping crates can be provided upon request (with an additional cost). Transport is at the client’s expense and under their responsibility.
What are the delivery times?
Delivery times vary depending on the ordered piece, quantity, and nature of the project. An estimated timeframe is communicated at the time of the order. Reasonable delays cannot give rise to cancellation or compensation.
Do you deliver internationally?
Yes, deliveries can be made throughout France and internationally, according to terms agreed with each client.
Are the delivered pieces identical to the photos?
The photos are indicative. Variations in color, texture, or size are inherent to handmade work. Each piece is unique — that’s what gives it its character.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Upon receipt, open the package in front of the delivery person. Note any reservations on the delivery slip, then confirm by registered mail within 5 days. Please contact me afterwards to discuss a replacement if the damage is confirmed.
Can I return a piece?
Returns are only possible with prior written agreement, within 15 days after receipt, and if the piece shows an apparent defect or proven non-conformity. Returns are not accepted for custom-made pieces.
Who holds the rights to the works?
All works, images, and the name “Lisa Maïofiss Céramiques” are protected by intellectual property rights. Any reproduction or publication requires prior written authorization. Please credit the works on any medium.
Are your pieces watertight or food-safe?
The Porcelain collections are watertight and food-safe. The Terres Brutes collections are mostly decorative. Earthenware is not naturally watertight, and glazes may be applied randomly. It is recommended to test before pouring liquid inside.
